Astronomers have confirmed that an object that recently passed by our planet is from outside our Solar System — the first interstellar asteroid that’s ever been observed. And it doesn’t look like any object we’ve ever seen in our cosmic neighborhood before.

I really tried to like the Facebook Events app when Facebook announced it last year. It just didn’t provide a ton of value for the events I was interested in. Let’s hope that this version will be a vast improvement.

Just like the $299 Insta360 One or the $799 GoPro Fusion , Rylo is a 360-degree camera that’s not really about filming 360-degree photos and videos. Rylo, which costs $499 and goes on sale today, is a dual-lens camera that lets you do creative things with the full 360-degree sphere of imagery, like transforming it into a regular, flat video that you can reframe as much as you want.
I have a Ricoh Theta S and absolutely love it. It’s really awesome to see editing ability like this in cheaper 360° cameras, though.

When Star Wars hit theaters in 1977, it was unlike any film that audiences had seen, presenting a worn, lived-in feel world for its story. That visual aesthetic was due in part to John Mollo, the film’s costume designer who went on to earn an Academy Award for his work on the film.

Microsoft has been testing its mobile interface changes in desktop versions of its apps recently. The software is now rolling out these changes to Mac and Windows users today. A radical redesign of Skype on mobile launched back in June, and the reception to the changes hasn’t been positive .
